Hi friend! We’re excited to share our Camera crochet pattern Kawaii Cuddler™ with you!
Here are some fun facts we found about cameras while researching our pattern:
- The first ever color photograph was taken in 1861 by a physicist James Clark Maxwell.
- It wasn’t until the invention of photographic film that cameras and photography started gaining traction. George Eastman not only pioneered photographic film, but he also created and started selling his first camera called “Kodak” in 1888. Fast forward to 1976, and Kodak owned 90% of photographic film market share in the United States.
- The next revolution came with the release of digital cameras. The first-ever digital camera was designed by Kodak in 1975. It weighed 8 pounds and was able to record black and white photos at the resolution of 0.01 MP. We’ve definitely came a long way since then.
Our Camera crochet pattern is happy to join our other fun friends Television Kawaii Cuddler™, Pizza Kawaii Cuddler™, & Unicorn Cake Kawaii Cuddler™
This is a beginner level pattern. Our finished Camera project is 10″ x 15″ using the recommended hook size. You are welcome to go up or down a hook size to create a different dimension. You can even hold two pieces of yarn together with a larger hook to create a giant cuddler. The sky is the limit!
If you’ve never worked one of our Kawaii Cuddler™ patterns, they are geared towards beginners. You will work two flat pieces and single crochet them together to finish the piece. Even if you’ve never been able to crochet from a pattern before, we’re confident you can create with a 3amgracedesigns pattern. Where is the pattern for the top and bottom with the white yarn? Camera body it states to make 2 do you makati an opening on both sides for the lens or just crochet across in grey? I think I must be missing a Parton the pattern.

The top and bottom portions of the camera are gray. They are included in the pattern. The Camera body says to Make 2 – you will make 2 of everything in that section.
