How To Crochet A State of Texas Amigurumi Cuddler Pillow With Rosy Cheeks And Kawaii Smile. Our State of Texas Crochet Pattern Works Up Quickly!
Hi friend! We are excited to share our State of Texas crochet pattern Kawaii Cuddler® with you!
Here are some fun facts we found about the State of Texas while researching our pattern:
- The state was an independent nation from 1836 to 1845.
- Texas is the only state to enter the United States by treaty instead of territorial annexation.
- Caddo Lake is the only natural lake in the state.
Our State of Texas crochet pattern is happy to join our other State friend’s State of California Crochet Pattern Kawaii Cuddler®, State of Vermont Crochet Pattern Kawaii Cuddler®, & West Virginia Crochet Pattern Kawaii Cuddler®.
This is a beginner level pattern. Our finished State of Texas project is 11″ x 11″ tall using the recommended hook size. You are welcome to go up or down a hook size to create a different dimension. You can even hold two pieces of yarn together with a larger hook to create a giant cuddler. The sky is the limit!
If you have never worked one of our Kawaii Cuddler® patterns, they are geared towards beginners. You will work two flat pieces and single crochet them together to finish the piece. Even if you have never been able to crochet from a pattern before, we are confident you can create with a 3amgracedesigns pattern. We encourage you to join our Facebook Group where we remain active helping with questions! We love passing our love for the craft on to others!
We hope you enjoy making your very own State of Texas! We cannot wait to see your creativity. When you complete one, please post it in our Facebook group or tag us on Instagram #3amgracedesigns. We love seeing your work!

This is awesome! I will be buying your pattern and putting my own spin on it to sell and donate the profit to hurricane relief. Thanks for the pattern!
You’re very welcome! I’d love to see your finished cuddlers! Post them in our Facebook group or feel free to email me. ?
Since I have the free pattern, I will be crocheting a bunch of these up to hand out. I live in Texas as well (Montgomery/Magnolia/Woodlands area), and our whole neighborhood was flooded out. I think these will brighten quite a few of my neighbors faces. Thank you so much!
That warms my heat, Kay. Thanks so much for sharing!
Could you tell me about how big this adorable pillow is using the hook and yarn you suggested?
I love it!
Hi Ember! Mine turned out 11″ x 11″ at the widest points. Hope that helps!
This is so adorable. Thank you for sharing the pattern. I can’t wait to make this my couch. We moved to Texas from California 8 years ago and I was wondering if you have or have plans to create a pattern for California? I’d really love one for my couch as well. Just a thought. Again thank you for sharing. I love all you cuddlers.
Hi Monica!
So glad you like it. Yes, we have plans to do all 50 States!

Can I put in a request for TN? ☺️ These are so cute.
Plan on making one of these for my grandkids who just recently moved from Texas with a custody suite. They lived in Texas all their lives until this uproar happened. They still consider Texas their home. Thank you so much for sharing this pattern.
You’re very welcome! So sorry to hear about what they’re going through. You’re in our prayers.
