You can also embroidery or use puff paint to create sleepy eyes like this:
Assembly
* Place safety eyes between rounds 6 & 7 roughly ten stitches apart.
* Sew or glue cheeks, chocolate chips, and bow (optional) in place.
* Align cookie halves so bite marks line up. Single crochet around both pieces to join together. Stuff with Poly-Fil prior to completing stitching. Make sure you work in a counter-clockwise direction so your stitches face forward.
* Using puff paint or embroidery floss, create a mouth between the cheeks, if desired.
My finished Chocolate Chip Cookie Kawaii Cuddler is 12″ in diameter. Hook size, yarn choice, and crochet tension will affect each individual result.
