How To Crochet A Dumbbell Weight Amigurumi Cuddler Pillow With Rosy Cheeks And Kawaii Smile. Our Dumbbell Weight Crochet Pattern Works Up Quickly!

Hi friend! We’re excited to share our Dumbbell Weight crochet pattern Kawaii Cuddler® with you!

Here are some fun facts we found about Dumbbell Weight while researching our pattern:

  1. Etymology. The term “dumbbell” or “dumb bell” originated in late Stuart England. In 1711 the poet Joseph Addison mentioned exercising with a “dumb bell” in an essay published in The Spectator.
  2. The use of dumbbells dates all the way back to ancient Greece. Ancient Greeks used halteres during their long jump competitions to help them jump farther.
