How To Crochet A Panda Bear Amigurumi Cuddler Pillow. Our Panda Bear Crochet Pattern Is Created With Beginners In Mind & Works Up Quickly!
Hi friend! We’re so excited to share our Panda Bear crochet pattern Kawaii Cuddler® with you!
A few fun facts we learned about Panda Bears while researching our pattern:
- The giant panda’s distinct black-and-white markings have two functions: camouflage and communication. Most of the panda – its face, neck, belly, rump – is white to help it hide in snowy habitats. The arms and legs are black, helping it to hide in shade.
- Panda’s eyes are different than normal bears. Like domestic cats, giant pandas have vertical slits for pupils.
- Cubs are well protected in their first month. Mother pandas keep contact with their cub nearly 100% of the time during their first month – with the cub resting on her front and remaining covered by her paw, arm or head.
This is a beginner level pattern. Our finished Panda Bear project is 14″ x 10″ using the recommended hook size. You are welcome to go up or down a hook size to create a different dimension. You can even hold two pieces of yarn together with a larger hook to create a giant cuddler. The sky is the limit!
If you’ve never worked one of our Kawaii Cuddler® patterns, they are geared towards beginners. You will work two flat pieces and single crochet them together to finish the piece. Even if you’ve never been able to crochet from a pattern before, we’re confident you can create with a 3amgracedesigns pattern.
