The fifth & final design in our Christmas Series this year is the Reindeer. He’s ready to help Santa on Christmas Eve. You can create your Reindeer as Rudolph or one of Santa’s other Reindeer friends. Either way, he’s sure to have lots of fun in reindeer games!

*Hobby Lobby “I Love This Yarn” in Brown, Toasted Almond, Red, Pink & Black
*Red Heart Super Saver yarn in Café Latte
* Two 18mm Black Safety Eyes (We’ve added them to Our Shop for your convenience)
* Poly-fil Stuffing
* Tapestry Needle
* Craft glue or hot glue gun (optional)

Right Antler
Row 1 – With two strands of Brown yarn held together, attach yarn in last stitch on top right of Reindeer head, SC3 (3)

Row 5 – SC in 2nd Ch from hook and next chain, then along row (5)
Rows 6-7 – SC across (5)

Belly Overlay

You can also embroider or use puff paint to create sleepy eyes like this:
Assembly
* Place safety eyes on Reindeer Head, between Rows 9 & 10 from top, approximately 9 stitches apart.
* Sew or glue Cheeks, Nose, & Belly Overlay in desired location.
* Use yarn or puff paint to create mouth.
* Align Reindeer halves so ends of rows match. SC around both pieces to join together. If you want your edging to match — make sure you change colors as you SC around. Stuff with Poly-Fil prior to completing stitching. Make sure you work in a counter-clockwise direction so your stitches face forward.
