How To Crochet A Dolphin Amigurumi Cuddler Pillow With Double Flippers And Rosy Cheeks. Our Dolphin Crochet Pattern Works Up Quickly!
Hi friend! We’re so excited to share our Dolphin crochet pattern Kawaii Cuddler® with you! Dolphins are found all across the world and are close relatives of whales. While researching Dolphins for our design, we found some interesting facts:
*It is in the nature of the dolphins to stick with their mothers for a long time before they leave their pack. Some stay with their mothers for 3 or even 8 years!
*Dolphins have 2 stomachs – one is used for storage of food and the other is used for digestion.
*Dolphins are known to be great divers. Being creatures of the sea, they can dive up to 1,000 feet underwater.
*Dolphins can live up to 50 years! Even though the average lifespan of dolphins is about 17 years, some can even live up to 50 years!
*There are many types of dolphins, around 40 different species. While the majority of them spend their lives in saltwater, many can survive just fine in freshwater. The smallest of their kind is 3-4 feet long, while the largest is 30 feet!
This is a beginner level pattern. Our finished Dolphin project is 12″ x 13″ using the recommended hook size. You are welcome to go up or down a hook size to create a different dimension. You can even hold two pieces of yarn together with a larger hook to create a giant cuddler. The sky is the limit!
If you’ve never worked one of our Kawaii Cuddler® patterns, they are geared towards beginners. You will work two flat pieces and single crochet them together to finish the piece. Even if you’ve never been able to crochet from a pattern before, we’re confident you can create with a 3amgracedesigns pattern.
