How To Crochet A Pumpkin Pie Amigurumi Cuddler Pillow With Rosy Cheeks And Kawaii Smile. Our Pumpkin Pie Crochet Pattern Works Up Quickly!
Hi friend! We are excited to share our Pumpkin Pie crochet pattern Kawaii Cuddler® with you!
Here are some fun facts we found about the Pumpkin Pie while researching our pattern:
- 50 million pumpkin pies are baked every year.
- 1 out of 5 Americans has eaten an ENTIRE pumpkin pie by themselves.
- Pumpkin pie was not served at the first Thanksgiving, though pumpkins were used in other recipes at the time.
Our Pumpkin Pie crochet pattern is happy to join our other Food friend’s Chocolate Cream Pie Crochet Pattern Kawaii Cuddler®, Key Lime Pie Crochet Pattern Kawaii Cuddler®, & Roasted Turkey Crochet Pattern Kawaii Cuddler®.
This is a beginner level pattern. Our finished Pumpkin Pie project is 10.5″ x 11.5″ using the recommended hook size. You are welcome to go up or down a hook size to create a different dimension. You can even hold two pieces of yarn together with a larger hook to create a giant cuddler. The sky is the limit!
If you have never worked one of our Kawaii Cuddler® patterns, they are geared towards beginners. You will work two flat pieces and single crochet them together to finish the piece. Even if you have never been able to crochet from a pattern before, we are confident you can create with a 3amgracedesigns pattern. We encourage you to join our Facebook Group where we remain active helping with questions! We love passing our love for the craft on to others!
We hope you enjoy making your very own Pumpkin Pie! We cannot wait to see your creativity. When you complete one, please post it in our Facebook group or tag us on Instagram #3amgracedesigns. We love seeing your work!

Hi, I don’t know what I am doing wrong but I cannot seem to grasp the beginning of the pie topping. I start at the very left of the pie (away from the side crust) and I chain two, sc in the second chain from the top but from there I don’t know if I chain 1 and turn or if I don’t chain 1 and just turn, or if I don’t turn at all. I’m just so confused 😕❓. Help!
Hi Gina!
The Pie Topping is worked as its own piece. It’s whipstitched to the pie when it’s complete. Row 1 is started in your hands as a Chain 2, not attached to the pie. Hope that helps!
