How To Crochet A Texas State Flag Amigurumi Cuddler Pillow With Rosy Cheeks And Kawaii Smile. Our Texas State Flag Crochet Pattern Works Up Quickly!

Hi friend! We are excited to share our Texas State Flag crochet pattern Kawaii Cuddler® with you!

Here are some fun facts we found about the Texas State Flag while researching our pattern:

  1. Texas’ Flag is also known as the “Lone Star Flag”
  2. The Lone Star’s symbolism dates back to the Texas Revolution.
  3. The Texas Flag’s designer is unknown.

This is a beginner level pattern. Our finished Texas State Flag project is 8″ x 13″ tall using the recommended hook size. You are welcome to go up or down a hook size to create a different dimension. You can even hold two pieces of yarn together with a larger hook to create a giant cuddler. The sky is the limit!

If you have never worked one of our Kawaii Cuddler® patterns, they are geared towards beginners. You will work two flat pieces and single crochet them together to finish the piece. Even if you have never been able to crochet from a pattern before, we are confident you can create with a 3amgracedesigns pattern. We encourage you to join our Facebook Group where we remain active helping with questions! We love passing our love for the craft on to others!

We hope you enjoy making your very own Texas State Flag! We cannot wait to see your creativity. When you complete one, please post it in our Facebook group or tag us on Instagram #3amgracedesigns. We love seeing your work!

I am going the store today to get yarn to make some cuddlers. When you have a chance can you post a link on ravelry and I will share it with my groups on there?

If I wanted to buy a pillow form instead of stuffing with poly-fil, what size form would fit? Thanks for this pattern. I’m sending it to friends who live in Texas. They’ll love it!

Hi Lori! My finished design was 8×13 inches. Depending on the size hook you use and the tension with which you crochet, yours could end up different. I would make the front and then take it into the store you intend to purchase your pillow form from to measure. Hope your friends enjoy it!

SO cute!!! I have friends in Houston. If this weather doesn’t settle down, we may need cuddlers for the hole of US. I was actually on Kawaii shortly after Iniki and for my work. That was devastating and has stayed with me. Bless you for the designs – I just LOVE them
