How To Crochet A Frog Amigurumi Cuddler Pillow With Rosy Cheeks And Kawaii Smile. Our Frog Crochet Pattern Works Up Quickly!

Hi friend! We’re excited to share our Frog crochet pattern Kawaii Cuddler™ with you!

Here are some fun facts we found about Frog while researching our pattern:

  1. Some frogs can jump over 20 times their own body length. That’s like a human jumping more than 100 feet!
  2. Just like a tree, a frog’s bones form a new ring every year when the frog is hibernating. Scientists can count these rings to find out the age of the frog.
  3. Some frogs, like the American Green Tree frog, are often kept as pets. These small frogs are timid, and most don’t tolerate being handled well, but they are very cute to watch.

Our Frog crochet pattern is happy to join our other Animal and Birds friend’s Bird Crochet Pattern Kawaii Cuddler™, Fox Crochet Pattern Kawaii Cuddler™, & Flamingo Crochet Pattern Kawaii Cuddler™.

This is a beginner level pattern. Our finished Frog project is 8″ x 11″ using the recommended hook size. You are welcome to go up or down a hook size to create a different dimension. You can even hold two pieces of yarn together with a larger hook to create a giant cuddler. The sky is the limit!

If you’ve never worked one of our Kawaii Cuddler™ patterns, they are geared towards beginners. You will work two flat pieces and single crochet them together to finish the piece. Even if you’ve never been able to crochet from a pattern before, we’re confident you can create with a 3amgracedesigns pattern. We encourage you to join our Facebook Group where we remain active helping with questions! We love passing our love for the craft on to others!

We hope you enjoy making your very own Frog! We can’t wait to see your creativity. When you complete one, please post it in our Facebook group or tag us on Instagram #3amgracedesigns. We love seeing your work!

      Hi Judy!

Yes, you begin at Row 4 and do your SC23 around for the body. 🙂

Hello. I’m having trouble starting the body. When it says to do SC23 starting at the 4th row, do I go down or go around the bottom of the face? Thank you

      Hi Jane!
You are starting at the end of Row 4 and single crochet across the row ends towards the bottom of the face.
      Hope that helps. Happy crocheting!
