Hi friend – or if you’ve landed here from the big inner webs, we should say, Hi Dooder!
Here at 3amgracedesigns, we are huge Brandon Farris fans! His comedy keeps us laughing, but his heart keeps our love & support for him growing even stronger. He has such an inspiring success story – if you’re not familiar with it, we highly recommend watching his Draw My Year video.
A couple of weeks ago we introduced our amigurumi Brandon Farris & Co-Host Kelly patterns. If you haven’t seen them, check them out!
This week we’re releasing a free Jear Desus C2C crochet blanket pattern. We recently sent Brandon his very own Jear Desus blanket! If you’d like to make your own, download the graph below.
We’d love for you share your progress and enthusiasm in our Facebook group!

We are excited to share our project with you! Happy crocheting!
The blanket shown in our photo is the Jear Desus in C2C without the C2C border. We opted to create our own border using SC, HDC and DC. You can either do the C2C Chart on it’s own or you can choose to do the chart and add the Border. If you’d like to add the Border, we’ve provided the instructions below.

Why does it say Jear Desus, and not Dear Jesus? Just wondering <3 Thank you.
Hi Sharon!
This is a tribute to comedian Brandon Farris. He has always used the phrase “Jear Desus”.
Thank you for this pattern! I love Brandon and his humor! I saw him open this blanket , not 15 minutes ago. Corner to corner crochet is one pattern I can do. You guys rock!
You’re very welcome! So glad you like it! We’d love to see it when you’re done. We have a Facebook group <3
Thank you …I just watched the video as Brandon opened the box with your blanket…love, love, love it…..I am a big fans of his also and love to crochet and love to do c2c blankets..hope I am able to get the pattern today and start making it very soon….the video viewing date 7/10/19..thanks again and may we continue to laugh with Brandon for a long..long time..
We were excited to see him open it, Linda! If you make a blanket, we’d love to see it!
Thank you so much for this! Someone posted his “learning to crochet” video on a Facebook crochet group. Ever since that day i fell in love with Brandon, his quick wit and way with words, his kind soul, his perspective on life. He makes me feel happy even for a little while on my darkest days. Such a joy and blessing to have this young man in my life, via the medium of internet!
You’re very welcome! That’s when I discovered him too!
I don’t crochet but would love this blanket.
Will you have this blanket available to buy on your shop?
Hi Kelli – unfortunately, neither of us have the time resource to offer the finished items.
I saw the video of when he opened the box and was blown away by the Jear Desus on it! Fabulous!!
Thank you so much. That means a lot to us!
If I can pay ANYONE to make this for me, please message me at [email protected]. I, unfortunally, am unable to crochet due to a medical condition. Thank you so much Donna and Michaelene for making this a thing and for making it for Brandon!
You’re very welcome! Hopefully someone reaches out.
How do u get the wording in the middle?
It’s in the C2C pattern. If you follow the pattern rows, you will create the wording. 🙂
Can I follow this pattern and not change the wool colour so there is no wording? I love the pattern but I’m not making it for the wording 🙂
Yes absolutely!
